    If you are having trouble with eSATA devices not showing up under Windows 7 be sure to check your SATA settings in your bios. On my Dell Latitude system, using ATA mode versus AHCI mode prevents eSATA devices from functioning.

    Careful though, you can’t change from ATA to AHCI mode with out making the registry change contained within. Read more to find out how..

    While testing SQL Server 2008 RC0, I ran into a problem when connecting to the server via IP address on the default installation.

    An error has occurred while establishing a connection to the server.
